Why am I Blogging? August 15, 2008
Posted by maumicannellchatterton in : Web 2.0 , trackbackSo my work is Student Affairs and I love working with the students and the University and many facets of Higher Education but one of my passions is Web 2.0 and all that it has to offer.
Of course, people drop this phrase all over the place but what does it all mean? What is Web 2.0? But that sounds like it is just a place for business, what about education? Education 2.0 This doesn’t just mean that everyone is going to just go to college online though – there are so many other possibilities. How we communicate and share information, how we expand our views of others and the world.
So my goal with this Blog is to try to expand some perspectives and show a few snapshots of what’s going on out there. I hope that I can inspire some explorations and add some insights and, hopefully, expand where we at Stevenson University are going in the Web 2.0 World !
